  It appears that Dave Smith's State Farm Insurance has more business than they can handle. It appears that we were late on making a payment, it was stated that we were sent a card (which we do not recall receiving), and we have now been uninsured for a month. In our business, if a person does not respond after we send them a card, we call them to remind them. But it appears that Mr. Smith does not need the business, or is failing at taking care of his customers (which we have be since he opened). When we called the office, we spoke to Rose, and the attitude in her voice is quite customer unfriendly. We asked if we could pay by credit card, and she consented, and upon giving her the credit card number, we were told that we were "1 number short". We confirmed the number, and again told we were "1 number short". We asked if they took Amerincan Express, and were told by Rose that they "do not". It would have been easier if Rose stated up front that "we accept all credit cards except AE". This is not the first time that we have been treated as third class customers over the phone (I am a Doctor). We believe that Mr. Smith needs to monitor his employee voice conversations with customers. We are starting to look for another insurance provider.

  I've had an awesome experience working with Julie at this office. She is very knowledgeable and takes the time to explain things in a way that is easy to understand. Recently my auto rates went up and she was very forward with the reasoning behind all of it and broke down the individual pieces that caused it to increase. I started to go down the road of looking at other auto insurers to save money and she even helped with the quotes from competitors. In the end I ended up sticking with State Farm just because of the service I've been provided.
